Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Solution Consultant at AspenTech, you will collaborate closely with the sales teams to drive the consultative discovery process with customers. Your role will involve crafting a vision and roadmap for solutions that meet customer requirements, identifying value capture potential, and designing implementation and sustainment programs. You will leverage your deep understanding of AspenTech's product strategy, value enablers, and professional services capabilities to drive opportunities and deliver high-quality solutions that bring significant business value to customers and AspenTech. Key Responsibilities: - Develop industry- and application-specific solutions for customers by leading value discovery sessions, assessing needs, and building solutions on the AspenTech platform. - Understand prospective customers" critical business issues to present AspenTech's software capabilities as the optimal solution. - Create recommendations, proposals, and scope of work documents for AspenTech Consulting engagements, while identifying critical dependencies and gaps. - Consult with customers to advise on relevant AspenTech solutions, establish a value proposition, and execute sales campaigns and plans with the Sales teams. - Identify and qualify business opportunities, address customer technical challenges, and support pipeline development and sales execution in assigned accounts and opportunities. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in consulting, pre-sales, or professional services consulting within process industry verticals like Energy, Petrochemicals, or specialty chemicals. - Strong understanding of manufacturing economics and the ability to engage with customers on plant processes and economics. - Technology specialization in areas such as Process Engineering, Manufacturing Supply Chain Planning, Advanced process control, Predictive Maintenance, and IT/OT real-time Digital infrastructure modernization. - Ability to solve customer problems effectively, convert pipeline opportunities into closed deals, and articulate technical solutions to business problems. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capacity to analyze customer data and create clear observations and conclusions. - Willingness to travel approximately 40%, including domestic and international travel for customer engagements.
