Senior Solid Works Design Engineer

SolidWorks Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using

  SolidWorks

  .
• Perform engineering analysis and simulations (stress, thermal, etc.) to ensure product design integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers and engineers.
• Review and ensure design compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Conduct design revisions and product improvements based on feedback from clients or testing results.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from design to production.
• Conduct feasibility studies and ensure designs are cost-effective and meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that products meet both functional and aesthetic standards.
• Participate in client meetings and design presentations when required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience

  in mechanical design with

  SolidWorks

  .
• Expertise in

  3D modeling, sheet metal design, and assembly

  in SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of

  Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

  .
• Experience with

  FEM analysis

  using SolidWorks Simulation or similar software.
• Proficient in creating detailed

  technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions

  .
• Solid understanding of

  manufacturing processes

  such as CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience in designing products for

  aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, or similar industries

  is a plus.
• Excellent

  communication and teamwork skills

  .
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A degree in

  Mechanical Engineering

  or a related field.

Desirable Skills

• Certification in

  SolidWorks

  (CSWP or equivalent).
• Knowledge of

  PDM/PLM systems

  and design data management.
• Familiarity with

  ANSI, ISO, or other relevant international standards

  .
• Experience with

  Rapid Prototyping

  (3D printing, etc.).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
