Senior Software Engineer - SAP ABAP

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in SAP ABAP to join our team.

As a key member of our development group, you will design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions, ensuring they meet the functional and technical needs of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop ABAP code adhering to SAP best practices and modern syntax standards
• Adapt existing ABAP programs to comply with S/4HANA requirements, including creating and managing CDS views
• Customize SAP standard functionality using enhancements, user exits, and BADIs
• Implement and consume OData services for seamless integration with Fiori applications
• Manage data exchange processes between SAP and external systems using IDOCs, BAPIs, and Sproxy
• Optimize program performance and troubleshoot issues using advanced debugging techniques
• Work collaboratively with functional teams to ensure alignment with SAP retail domain requirements

Requirements

• 4-9 years of experience in ABAP programming and development tools
• Knowledge of S/4HANA adaptation, CDS views, and handling SPDD/SPAU/SPAU_ENH
• Skills in enhancements, user exits, and BADIs for SAP customization
• Understanding of OData services and Fiori/UI5 technologies
• Expertise in integration techniques such as IDOCs, BAPIs, and Sproxy
• Proficiency in performance tuning and SAP debugging tools
• Background in functional SAP retail domain, HANA Repository, and HDI preferred
