Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Maven, and Rest Assured.
Ensure frameworks are scalable, reusable, and easy to maintain.
Review automation code and enforce coding standards and best practices.
Manage source code repositories using Git / GitLab, including branching and merging.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or Jenkins.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automation tests within build pipelines.
Lead and mentor a QA team, assign tasks, review work, monitor progress when needed and ensure timely delivery.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Perform REST API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
Validate API responses, payloads, and business logic.
Analyze requirements, derive test scenarios, and create detailed test cases.
Execute tests, log defects, track resolutions, and prepare test summary reports.
Ensure comprehensive functional and regression testing coverage.
Support production validation and coordinate with cross-functional teams for releases.

Required Skills:

Strong programming knowledge in Java or Python.
Proficient in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber (BDD), TestNG, Rest Assured, Postman, and Maven.
Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
Good understanding of Agile methodology and QA processes.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience leading a QA team (minimum 35 members).
