Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in data integration to join our team focused on the Markit EDM platform. You will play a key role in developing, testing, and supporting EDM functionalities while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This role offers the opportunity to lead business-as-usual initiatives and contribute to the delivery of high-quality solutions and problem resolution. If you have strong experience with the Markit EDM platform and SQL and a commitment to supporting clients effectively, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Lead business-as-usual initiatives and deliver high-quality support to business and technology teams Manage a team of 8-10 members as the EDM lead Analyze and resolve complex issues with strong problem-solving skills Maintain strict adherence to issue tracking and incident management processes Support production and test environments to ensure stability and performance Communicate effectively with clients, business users, and internal teams to facilitate collaboration Deliver assigned work with a focus on quality and timely completion Provide regular project progress updates to management and project teams Requirements Proven experience as a software engineer with strong data integration skills using the Markit EDM platform and SQL Background in leading teams or initiatives in a technical environment Experience with Markit EDM and EDM implementations covering any of the following data sets: Market, Instrument, Party, Reference, Corporate Actions and Historical Time-Series Skills in application support, including first and second-line problem resolution Competency in incident and problem management Strong communication skills with English proficiency at C1 level or above Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with business users and cross-functional teams
