We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in data integration to join our team focused on the Markit EDM platform. You will play a key role in developing, testing, and supporting EDM functionalities while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Lead business-as-usual initiatives and deliver high-quality support to business and technology teams Manage a team of 8-10 members as the EDM lead Analyze and resolve complex issues with strong problem-solving skills Maintain strict adherence to issue tracking and incident management processes Support production and test environments to ensure stability and performance Communicate effectively with clients, business users, and internal teams to facilitate collaboration Deliver assigned work with a focus on quality and timely completion Provide regular project progress updates to management and project teams Requirements Proven experience as a software engineer with strong data integration skills using the Markit EDM platform and SQL Background in leading teams or initiatives in a technical environment Experience with Markit EDM and EDM implementations covering any of the following data sets: Market, Instrument, Party, Reference, Corporate Actions and Historical Time-Series Skills in application support, including first and second-line problem resolution Competency in incident and problem management Strong communication skills with English proficiency at C1 level or above Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with business users and cross-functional teams

Understanding and experience with Master Data Management Applications Such as Semarchy , Markit EDM and data governance practices, data visualization platform like Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau a plus. Exp with agile scrum methodology. Required Candidate profile Review requirements with business stakeholder. Establish daily platform monitoring & reconciliation break resolution define governance framework. Translate requirements into actionable stories.

Support enhancements to the MDM platform Track System Performance Troubleshoot issues Resolve production issues Required Candidate profile 5+ years in Python and advanced SQL including profiling, refactoring Experience with REST API and Hands on Azure Databricks and ADF Experience with Markit EDM or Semarchy

About the Role: The Role: As a Software Engineer Markit EDM Implementation, you will be working on development of new EDM Workflows and support the existing ones. The Team: You will be working in a global team spread across 3 continents, which is responsible to cater to the Master Data needs to S&P Index business. The Impact: The team works solely with focus on gathering the data from different vendors and providing quality Master data to the downstream systems, which is a critical aspect to run the business. What Were Looking For: BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Finance with 4-6 years total experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial domain required. Experience working with data management technologies (EDM, Golden Source, Informatica) highly preferred Strong SQL skills, database design, SQL performance optimization techniques required. Experience with Python, Github, Jenkins, Tidal is desirable. Experience with software development and support required. Ability to critically review, debug and diagnose existing application codebase across all application tiers required. Familiarity with Agile development process. Experience working with AWS is desired, but not required. Experience working with global technology and product teams.
