Senior Software Engineer II

As a Senior Software Engineer I / II at Contentstack, you will have the opportunity to work across the stack, from committing code to running it in production, all while focusing on delivering the best possible experience for the user. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing features from inception to rollout, ensuring that the code you write is of high quality, scalable, testable, maintainable, and reliable. You will have the autonomy to independently own and drive new features from scratch, working in an Agile environment and championing best practices and cross-functional skill development. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior team members, cultivating talent and bringing out the best in your team. Continuous improvement is key, both through your own work and by providing feedback to others. To excel in this role, you should have experience working with Golang on the backend and ReactJS on the frontend, along with a strong knowledge of creating scalable REST APIs. Experience with alternative protocols like GraphQL, GRPC, and Typed programming languages like TypeScript is preferred. Additionally, practicing TDD (Test Driven Development), writing test automation, and working with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, and Relational databases are essential. A solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming and/or Functional Programming concepts, as well as experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, are required. Past experience in tackling scaling issues, familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, and experience with container orchestrators like Kubernetes, Nomad, Ansible, are all beneficial. Having 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role and being located in Pune (Hybrid) are the requirements for this position.
