Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using
Java
,
Spring
, and
Spring Boot
frameworks.
Implement
event-driven architectures
leveraging
Apache Kafka
for real-time data streaming and messaging.
Develop, configure, and optimize
Spring-Kafka
integrations to ensure reliable and high-throughput message processing.
Participate in architectural discussions, performance tuning, and scalability improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design RESTful APIs and integrate with other microservices.
Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability and performance

Qualifications:

6+ years professional experience building large scale and real time or near real time cloud systems.
Strong programming and debugging skills, with proficiency in Java.

Experience in:

Strong experience in Java, Spring, and Gradle
, with hands-on expertise in
Spring Boot frameworks
and
Spring-Kafka integration
.
Proficiency in designing and implementing event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Desirable and helpful (but not necessary) are experience in

Experience with investigating large and complex codebases
Creating APIs/web services: REST, OpenAPI/Swagger is a plus.
Container-orchestration: Docker & Kubernetes
Enjoy database related work: DynamoDB, ongoDB, Postgres.
Analytical approach to problem solving.
Personal drive and maintaining a high pace - while taking responsibility for things working.
Willingness to vocalize your ideas and pick yourself up if you get knocked down.
