Job Description

Role Overview


We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer proficient in NestJS and Next.js to join our on-site team in Jaipur. You will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and seamless front-end integration, while mentoring junior team members and ensuring high-quality code practices.


Required Skills


  • Strong hands-on experience with

    NestJS

    ,

    Node.js

    , and

    TypeScript

  • Proficient with

    Next.js

    (React, SSR, SSG, and API routes)
  • Solid understanding of

    relational and NoSQL databases

    such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Experience with

    Redis

    and background job processing (e.g., BullMQ)
  • Familiarity with

    microservices architecture

  • Knowledge of

    cloud platforms

    (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and

    CI/CD pipelines

  • Strong skills in

    RESTful API design

    , code optimization, and debugging
  • Version control using

    Git

    , and Agile/Scrum development methodology
  • Ability to lead code reviews and mentor junior developers


Preferred Skills


  • Experience with

    Laravel

    or other backend frameworks is a plus
  • Familiarity with

    Docker

    Kubernetes

    , or other container orchestration tools
  • Understanding of

    GraphQL

    headless CMS

    , or event-driven architecture
  • Experience with

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using NestJS
  • Collaborate with frontend developers working in Next.js to deliver high-quality, integrated solutions
  • Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code for both frontend and backend components
  • Implement and maintain background jobs and task queues
  • Optimize database queries and maintain scalable data structures
  • Deploy applications using cloud infrastructure and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and non-production environments


Candidate Profile


We are looking for a proactive and experienced developer who can take ownership of backend architecture and contribute to frontend integration. You should have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and be comfortable working on-site in Jaipur. You should also be passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and continuously improving development practices.
