Senior Site Engineer

Project & Site Management

• Interpreting Drawings:

  Reading and understanding architectural, structural, and technical drawings to ensure construction aligns with the design.

• Work Programming:

  Developing daily and weekly work charts, schedules, and progress reports to manage site activities effectively.

• Material Management:

  Coordinating material procurement, ensuring timely delivery, and verifying compliance with project specifications.

• Resource Allocation:

  Assigning tasks and directing laborers and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.

Construction & Quality Assurance

• Supervision & Execution:

  Overseeing construction activities, including setting out lines and levels, and monitoring processes like steel placement and concrete curing.

• Quality Control:

  Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards, defect-free, and in compliance with company procedures and relevant codes.

• Technical Issue Resolution:

  Addressing any technical difficulties or unforeseen problems that arise during construction.

• Documentation:

  Maintaining accurate records of daily progress, materials used, casting work, site meetings, and quality control measures.

Health, Safety, & Environment

• Safety Compliance:

  Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and best practices to create a safe working culture.

• Environmental Compliance:

  Promoting and adhering to environmental regulations and procedures on the construction site.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Liaison:

  Acting as the on-site representative, facilitating communication between the site team, contractors, clients, and senior management.

• Reporting:

  Preparing reports for stakeholders and management, and providing documentation for project information.

• Collaboration:

  Working closely with various teams, including architects, project developers, and consultants, to achieve project objectives.
