Senior Site Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and contractors. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor day-to-day on-site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare site reports, drawings, quality assurance documentation, and status updates for management and clients. Ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and resources required on-site. Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot issues during construction. Manage site personnel and ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following legal regulations and best practices. Provide technical advice and resolve any on-site issues that arise during construction. Participate in project planning and risk assessments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a Site Engineer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles. Proficiency in using CAD software, MS Office, and project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project or Primavera). Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
