Senior Shopify developer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Shopify Developer to lead the end-to-end development of a custom Shopify store—from concept and setup to full implementation. The ideal candidate is a Shopify expert with a deep understanding of eCommerce best practices, performance optimization, and secure payment workflows. Key Responsibilities: Build a Shopify store from the ground up , including theme selection/customization and store configuration. Develop custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Set up and configure Shopify settings , including products, collections, navigation, shipping, taxes, and more. Integrate and configure payment gateways (Pioneer, PayPal, etc.). Ensure full mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility . Optimize site performance, loading speed, and SEO. Set up third-party apps , APIs, and integrations as needed (e.g., CRM, email marketing tools). Implement and maintain secure payment processes and ensure PCI compliance. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to deliver a high-converting user experience. Required Skills and Qualifications: 4+ years of professional experience in Shopify development. Expert-level proficiency with Shopify’s Liquid templating language. Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery . Experience with Shopify APIs , custom apps, and third-party integrations. Proven ability to implement and troubleshoot payment gateway integrations . Deep understanding of eCommerce user experience and performance optimization. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
