Senior ServiceNow ITAM Developer

As a highly skilled ServiceNow ITAM Consultant, your role involves supporting the implementation and optimization of Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient asset management solutions utilizing the ServiceNow platform. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and execute the implementation of ServiceNow SAM and HAM modules. - Conduct workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Configure and customize SAM/HAM workflows, policies, and lifecycle processes. - Develop and maintain asset normalization, reconciliation, and license compliance rules. - Integrate SAM/HAM with CMDB, Discovery, Procurement, and third-party tools (e.g., SCCM, Flexera). - Support data migration, cleansing, and enrichment activities for assets. - Create reports and dashboards for asset tracking, software compliance, and optimization. - Provide knowledge transfer and training to client teams on SAM/HAM usage and best practices. - Collaborate with ServiceNow architects and developers to ensure alignment with platform standards. - Stay current with ServiceNow releases and ITAM trends to recommend improvements. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management with at least 2 full-cycle implementations of ServiceNow SAM and/or HAM. - Strong understanding of ITIL and ITAM lifecycle processes. - Hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration, scripting (JavaScript), and integrations. - Familiarity with software license models (per user, per device, subscription, etc.) and compliance frameworks. - Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and integration with external asset sources. - Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITAM / SAM (preferred). Additionally, it would be nice to have experience with Agile delivery methodologies, exposure to vendor management and contract management processes, and knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.,
