Job Summary:

Senior ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and other platform functionalities.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and process owners to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, including workflows, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and platforms using APIs, web services, and other technologies.
  • Perform advanced scripting of Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Pages, Client Scripts, and Glide Record Queries.
  • Develop and manage ServiceNow system integrations using MID Servers, REST/SOAP, and other protocols.
  • Ensure data integrity, platform security, and compliance by implementing robust access control lists (ACLs).
  • Perform upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and performance of the platform.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for implemented solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to the development team on best practices and technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience

    as a ServiceNow Developer, including hands-on experience with ITSM, ITOM, or custom modules.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AngularJS, and other front-end technologies.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow's data model, table structure, and platform architecture.
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades and migrations.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow development best practices, including code review, version control, and testing.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow integrations with external systems (e.g., LDAP, SCCM, Azure, and AWS).
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing ServiceNow HRSD, CSM, or SecOps modules.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
  • Experience with Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, or Mobile Studio.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
