Senior SEO Manager

As our SEO Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all SEO activities aimed at enhancing our clients’ digital presence, improving search engine rankings, and driving incremental sales through organic search. This leadership role requires deep expertise in SEO within a digital marketing agency, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results and ROI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead SEO strategies that align with client goals and objectives.
• Set reasonable, logical, and commercially viable performance targets.
• Invest in and leverage advanced SEO tools/software to maximize ROI.
• Define and manage resource requirements for on-site content, technical SEO, and PR/link building.
• Build, maintain, and prioritize a keyword universe of relevant search terms, mapping them to business priorities and opportunities.
• Oversee technical optimization of client websites, ensuring best practices are implemented.
• Identify target landing pages for priority search queries and optimize them for maximum visibility and conversion.
• Track rankings, traffic, and conversions against defined keyword universes.
• Monitor site performance against technical KPIs and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Collaborate closely with developers, content teams, and the wider digital marketing division.
• Ensure all SEO initiatives are aligned with delivering a superior customer experience, always putting the user first.
• Lead, mentor, and train a team of SEO executives and junior staff.
• Deliver clear ROI reports and insights to clients, translating complex SEO data into actionable business recommendations.

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of proven SEO experience in a digital marketing agency environment.
• Strong knowledge of SEO tracking and analysis tools such as GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategy.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with experience presenting to clients.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Strategic thinker with decision-making capabilities and strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated success in delivering SEO strategies that result in measurable growth and ROI.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,800,000.20 per year
