Senior Security Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and developing robust cloud-based applications to enhance security infrastructure and improve threat intelligence capabilities. Your main focus will be on solving complex problems related to collecting, analyzing, and interpreting cyber adversaries" tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). You will create automated solutions for large-scale analysis, demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity and threat intelligence best practices, and provide guidance to junior engineers to support their professional growth. Engaging in daily stand-up meetings, you will take the lead on projects driving the engineering efforts behind security and intelligence-gathering applications. Key Responsibilities: - Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python (required), C/C++, JavaScript - Version Control Systems: Understanding and proficiency in using Git, including concepts like branching, merging, pull requests, and distributed version control - Databases and Data Management: Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra), along with understanding data structures, query optimization, and database design principles - API Development and Integration: Experience in designing with APIs, understanding API documentation, versioning, and security practices - Testing and Debugging: Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve code issues, troubleshooting, and performance tuning abilities - Software Architecture and Design Patterns: Understanding software architecture principles and design patterns for creating scalable, maintainable, and modular code - Security Awareness: Basic understanding of common security threats, encryption, access control, secure development, and secure coding practices - Operating Systems and Networking: Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems Additional Details: About Us: Oracle, a world leader in cloud solutions, leverages tomorrow's technology to address today's challenges.
