Senior Security Engineer

SENIOR SECURITY ENGINEER

• Lead the research, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of enterprise security engineering solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Evaluate, develop, implement, and communicate security standards, procedures, and guidelines across multiple platforms and diverse system environments.
• Plan and lead operational initiatives, including patching, maintenance, and lifecycle management of perimeter security devices.
• Serve as a Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to clients and internal teams throughout all phases of project lifecycle and implementation.
• Conduct performance evaluations, risk assessments, and make recommendations that impact the perimeter security engineering team.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and mitigate host, network, and architectural vulnerabilities; develop and report security metrics.
• Provide technical assistance in validating and assessing security alerts or incidents, performing risk analyses, conducting architectural reviews, and delivering security advisory services.
• Lead projects and provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior and mid-level engineers.

Who are looking for?

• Minimum

  4 years of relevant experience

  in security engineering or firewall operations.
• Must have hands-on experience supporting at least

  two

  of the following technologies:
• Cisco ASA/Firepower
• Palo Alto Firewall
• Strata Cloud Manager
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical certifications/experience.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and remote access VPN technologies (SSL-based).
• Minimum certification requirement:

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Next-Generation Firewall Engineer

  , or

• Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security)

  .

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)

  is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of

  Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

  is an added advantage.
• Ability to act as a technical escalation point and effectively communicate and coordinate firewall-related work with clients, internal teams, vendors, and consultants.
• Strong capability to learn and apply advanced and emerging security technologies and concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong collaboration, self-awareness, and communication (written and verbal).

Work Schedule & Benefits

• 8-hour shift within a 247 operations model.
• 5 working days and 2 days off, with rotational night shifts.
• Shift allowance provided for evening and night shifts, in addition to base salary.
