Senior SDET - Performance Testing

• Design and implement robust performance testing strategies for backend platforms and services, ensuring full alignment with non-functional requirements (NFRs).
• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, automated load and stress test suites using Gatling and Java, targeting microservices and cloud-native deployments.
• Attain deep expertise in backend infrastructure, including APIs, databases, cloud environments such as AWS and GCP, and microservices architectures powered by containerization with Docker.
• Set up, scale, and manage testing environments leveraging Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters, including configuring horizontal pod autoscaling (HPA) to validate real-world scalability under load.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics, using these insights to identify and address bottlenecks, collaborating cross-functionally with DevOps, Backend Engineers, and SREs for optimal tuning.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation covering test strategies, scripts, findings, and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to ongoing capacity planning, infrastructure tuning, and recommendations for upgrades, with a key focus on evaluating, configuring, and validating autoscaling of containers and pods in modern cloud ecosystems.
