Senior SDET Engineer

Job Summary: You will be part of the Yubi team as a Senior SDET, where your role will involve designing and implementing automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and performance of complex applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial to enhance the development process and maintain high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test frameworks and scripts to uphold software products" quality. - Working closely with software developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to grasp project requirements for comprehensive test coverage. - Designing and executing complex test cases, creating test plans, and defining testing strategies for functional and non-functional aspects. - Identifying, logging, and tracking bugs until resolution. - Ensuring the inclusion of automated testing stages in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Participating in code reviews to ensure testability and code quality. - Driving enhancements in automation processes and testing methodologies. - Mentoring junior SDETs and offering guidance on automation best practices and quality assurance. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Experience: 3-6 years in software testing and test automation. - Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Strong experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git). - Sound understanding of testing methodologies, functional and non-functional (performance, security, etc.). - Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Capability to work with distributed teams.,
