Senior SDET Engineer

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst position is a senior level role that involves establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main responsibility will be to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. You will be required to partner with multiple management teams to ensure the integration of functions to meet goals, identify necessary system enhancements for deploying new products and process improvements, and resolve high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes and industry standards. Additionally, you will provide expertise in applications programming, ensure application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint, develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation, and gain comprehensive knowledge of how different business areas integrate to achieve business goals. As a Technology Lead Analyst, you will serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocate work as necessary, assess risks in business decisions, and demonstrate ethical judgment in all business practices. Your role will also involve driving compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, and managing control issues with transparency. To be successful in this role, you should have 13-17 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis, extensive expertise in Java, hands-on experience of CI/CD, good knowledge in SQL and Unix, and experience in managing and implementing successful projects. You should also be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development, possess leadership and project management skills, and have clear and concise communication abilities. Additionally, you should have experience in test automation, open source testing tools, Selenium, Cucumber, implementing deployment pipelines, containerizing test packs, critical review of existing frameworks, and suggesting/implementing improvements. Your qualifications should include experience in Capital Markets or Trading domain lifecycle, familiarity with testing processes in Agile and Waterfall SDLC, expertise in Software Quality Assurance methodologies, test cycles, test tools, testing methodologies, requirement analysis, test scenario derivation, Jira usage, investment banking testing, and the ability to work independently. You should hold a Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience, with a Masters degree being preferred.
