Job Description

About the Role:

Senior SAP OpenText Consultant


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of

    OpenText Cloud migrations

    , particularly for content services integrated with SAP.
  • Work with business and IT teams to assess current on-premise OpenText architecture and define cloud migration strategy.
  • Implement and configure OpenText Extended ECM, VIM, Archive Center, and Content Server in cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Ensure integration with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other relevant SAP modules.
  • Define and manage data/content migration strategy, tools, and execution roadmap.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance, security, and governance of content in the cloud.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize performance post-migration.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to internal teams and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP OpenText implementations, including at least

    2+ years in OpenText Cloud

    environments.
  • Strong understanding of

    OpenText Extended ECM, VIM

    , Archive Center, and Content Server.
  • Proven experience leading

    OpenText cloud migration

    projects (content-side).
  • Experience integrating OpenText with

    SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA

    .
  • Knowledge of SAP ArchiveLink and ILM is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and OpenText deployment best practices.
  • Strong communication skills with experience working in remote, global delivery models.
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical project streams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with OpenText Core Content or Core Archive for SAP.
  • Exposure to compliance and data governance requirements in regulated industries.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, Fiori integration, and SAP BTP extensions related to content services.
