Senior SAP Basis Consultant

As a Senior SAP Basis Consultant based in Abu Dhabi, your primary responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining various SAP systems such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager. - Performing system copies, migrations, patches, upgrades, and kernel updates to ensure system functionality. - Monitoring SAP system performance, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing necessary actions. - Managing SAP transports and coordinating changes across different environments effectively. - Establishing and testing system backups and disaster recovery processes to maintain data integrity. - Applying SAP Notes and implementing OSS solutions to enhance system performance. - Troubleshooting and resolving SAP Basis-related issues including system failures, job errors, and connectivity problems. - Collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and enhance overall system stability. - Maintaining system documentation and following standard operating procedures to ensure seamless operations. - Supporting audit and compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to company and SAP security guidelines. Qualifications required for this role include: - At least 7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC systems. - Proven experience in SAP system migrations, upgrades, and familiarity with SAP HANA database and/or Oracle/SQL Server databases. - Demonstrated expertise in managing SAP systems in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you should possess the following skills: - Strong understanding of SAP architecture and Basis components. - Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems. - Solid knowledge of database administration and troubleshooting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.,
