Senior SAP Basis Administrator

As a Senior Specialist / Specialist in GSPO SAP BASIS at Linde Global Services Pvt Ltd, your role will involve providing maintenance & project support for the ongoing operation of Linde SAP systems as a Senior SAP Basis expert. You will be responsible for modifying and adapting standard design application systems based on the interpretation of processes or procedures that can be optimized by an IT solution. Your responsibilities will include developing SAP solutions in compliance with policies, guidelines, and procedures of Global IS to meet requirements. You will actively participate in global SAP projects, contributing your expertise to ensure projects are completed as expected and within the specified timeframe. Additionally, you will design, debug, document, and test various SAP products within the Linde Group. You will also be expected to be available for Team Call Outs and provide Out of Office Hours support, including weekends and public holidays, as needed for the service. Your role will involve handling adaptations of complex software within the subject area. To excel in this role, you should possess the ability to multitask across multiple assignments. You may need to take project lead responsibility, technical coordination activities, supervisory responsibilities, and provide training and coaching to new team members. Strong communication skills are essential to influence stakeholders and ensure consistency with overall IS strategies and policies. Additionally, you should have a technical and functional competence with senior-level knowledge in SAP products such as BI, SRM, PI, SCM, CRM, EP, Solution Manager, ERP, SAP Basis, performance tuning, SAP Application and Architecture, workload analysis, load balancing, memory configuration, buffering, database systems (HANA, ORACLE, ASE), hardware and OS Linux performance tracing, and Linux operating system tools. A degree-standard education in scientific, technical, or business discipline along with at least 5 years of SAP Basis experience is required. Experience in supporting and configuring large-scale SAP systems, as well as having SAP Technology Certification, would be advantageous.,
