Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Business Systems Analyst with expertise in SAP ABAP at MKS, your role involves providing support in SAP development for end users globally, with a particular focus on MKS entities in Europe. Your core responsibility is to offer active and effective SAP ERP support in alignment with defined SLAs and global support processes. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and implement SAP development changes using ABAP technology, especially in Finance and Logistics/Operations. - Collaborate with business owners and Business Relationship Managers to identify and define SAP-related objectives for effective ERP/SAP Development support, contributing to continuous improvement and problem management processes. - Engage with IT staff and business users to test new software programs and applications, including upgrades, interface applications, business functions, and new configurations. - Develop training materials and user manuals to support end users. Qualifications Required: - Profound understanding of SAP ABAP, including workflow. - Knowledge of OData and Fiori is advantageous but not mandatory. - Ability to collaborate with business end users and other functional and technical IT members. - Project Management Experience would be beneficial. - Understanding of SAP Finance and/or Logistics/Operations processes is a significant advantage. - Technical expertise in various SAP objects such as Workflows, ODATA, Adobe Forms, ABAP on HANA, CDS, AMDP, Interfaces, Proxies, Conversion, Enhancements, BAPI, BADIs, OOPs ABAP, Classes, User-Exits, Search Help, DMEE, DDIC, Table Functions, Smart forms, Reports, Implicit Enhancements is preferred. - Familiarity with SAP platforms and modules like FI, MM/WM, PP, QM, and experience in SAP S4HANA area is desirable. - Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools for SAP data extraction, analysis, and processing. - Fluency in English is a requirement, while knowledge of other languages is advantageous. - Possession of SAP Certification would be beneficial. - A degree in Computer Science, Management, Economics, or equivalent experience. - 4 to 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP.
