About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Manager to join our Global Sales & Marketing Division. In this role, you will drive sales and business development for our Maritime Simulation portfolio across South Asia, with a primary focus on India. You will work closely with global teams headquartered in Horten, Norway, and play a pivotal role in strengthening our market presence and expanding customer relationships in the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and business development for maritime simulation solutions across South Asia.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, including turnkey projects and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead customer engagements, presentations, and negotiations with maritime academies, naval institutions, and government bodies.
  • Collaborate with internal System & Services (S&S) and Product teams to ensure smooth delivery and post-sales support.
  • Expand business within key accounts by identifying and fulfilling customer requirements.
  • Secure new and repeat sales/contracts in the assigned region.
  • Execute sales strategies across simulation business segments (Offshore, Merchant, Navy).
  • Strengthen market presence by participating in regional conferences, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process in cooperation with the Regional Sales Director, Bid Team, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform contract negotiations, closures, and handovers to ensure business success.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate or higher education in a relevant field (MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred).
  • 10+ years of proven sales experience in Maritime Technologies (Simulation experience highly preferred).
  • Strong technical understanding of Maritime Technologies is an advantage.
  • Experience in cross-cultural sales strategies and operational practices.
