Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to identify new business opportunities and expand market presence within the MEP contracting industry in Northern states of India. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying target clients, and positioning the company's services to meet client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their requirements and providing customized solutions to address their needs. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and guidance to enhance their business outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to drive performance and achieve sales targets. Develop and implement sales processes, metrics, and KPIs to measure performance and track progress towards goals.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop tailored proposals and presentations that showcase the company's capabilities and value proposition to clients. Ensure that proposals are aligned with client requirements and reflect the company's competitive advantages.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats within the MEP contracting industry. Use insights to inform business development strategies and drive competitive differentiation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build relationships with key stakeholders and enhance the company's visibility and reputation within the industry.
  • Monitor sales performance, track pipeline activity, and generate accurate sales forecasts and reports. Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress, key wins, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure alignment and coordination of sales and business development activities. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork to drive overall business success.

Education:

Basic: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering

Additional Desirable: Masters in marketing management

Experience:

Minimum of 12 years of experience of working in MEP/ HVAC contracting company in Project Sales and BD. Demonstrated track record of driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and expanding client relationships.
