Role Overview: As a Senior Risk Manager at the UK Enterprise Risk Management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the risk and control oversight responsibilities across all UK businesses, activities, and risk types. Your primary focus will be on driving improvements in the Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment Process (ICARA), conducting risk assessments of new products, monitoring and reporting risk appetite metrics, performing ad-hoc risk analysis, and contributing to necessary change projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing key risk documentation, reporting to the UK Chief Risk Officer, and representing the team in relevant governance forums. Key Responsibilities: - Drive improvements on specific components of the ICARA process and relevant documentation. - Conduct risk assessment of new products and integrate them into existing risk management frameworks. - Monitor and report risk appetite metrics for the legal entities, including continuous enhancement and annual risk appetite statement update. - Perform ad-hoc risk analysis and contribute to required change projects. - Drive annual risk identification and assessment process across all risk categories. - Enhance risk monitoring and reporting for local governing bodies. - Develop and maintain key Risk documentation, including the UK Risk Management Framework. - Report to the UK Chief Risk Officer and represent the team in governance forums. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years of experience in Risk Management, including ERM, Operational Risk, Financial Risk, and/or Investment Risk. - Experience in the Asset Management sector. - Familiarity with FCA prudential regulation. - University degree in Business Management, Economics, or related field. - Proactive mindset with the ability to propose process improvements and influence teams. - Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating presentations. - Strong verbal presentation skills to Senior Management. - Ability to operate with high autonomy.
