Job Summary

Senior Resident

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in clinical care, diagnostic procedures, and patient management under supervision.
• Participate in ward rounds, OPD, and operative procedures as applicable.
• Assist in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students during clinical postings.
• Maintain departmental records, patient logs, and assist in audits.
• Contribute to academic and research activities within the department.
  

Qualifications

Ophthalmology:

• MBBS with MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology.
• Registration with the Medical Council / State Medical Council mandatory.
  

Experience

• 0–3 years after MD/MS/DNB. Fresh postgraduates are eligible.
• Prior teaching or research experience is an added advantage.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in the respective specialty.
• Ability to assist and guide students in clinical learning.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
