Job Description: A Senior Resident in Neurology is a vital member of the healthcare team specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. They work under the supervision of attending physicians and play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and neurological examinations.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, and electroencephalograms (EEGs).
• Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders, including medication management and rehabilitation therapies.
• Performing procedures such as lumbar punctures and nerve conduction studies under the supervision of attending physicians.
• Participating in rounds, case conferences, and multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care and treatment strategies.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding neurological conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices.
• Supervising junior residents, medical students, and other healthcare professionals in clinical settings.
• Engaging in research activities, including data collection, analysis, and publication of findings in peer-reviewed journals.

Education Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency training in neurology.
• Board certification or eligibility in neurology.
• Current medical licensure and registration.
• Strong clinical skills in evaluating and managing patients with neurological disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
