Senior Release Train Engineer (VP)

Role Overview: As a Senior Release Train Engineer at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and coordinating Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure alignment and efficient delivery of value across multiple teams within a program. Your responsibilities will involve managing dependencies, removing impediments, and overseeing the planning and execution of Program Increments. Fostering collaboration, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement in large-scale Agile environments will be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage dependencies and remove impediments to facilitate smooth functioning of Agile Release Trains (ARTs). - Oversee the planning and execution of Program Increments to ensure effective delivery of value. - Foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. - Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of Scaled Agile practices and principles. - Develop and enforce procedures to align capacity and demand, improving predictability and resource utilization. - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of the ART and report progress to senior leadership. - Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure their needs and expectations are met, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - Experience in Release Train Management and overseeing Agile Release Trains (ARTs). - Proficiency in managing Program Increments (PIs) and fostering a collaborative environment. - Expertise in Change Management and leading initiatives to implement Scaled Agile specifications and methodologies. - Strategic thinking, change management, collaborative leadership, and results-oriented mindset. - Strong skills in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.
