Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer who thrives on building intelligent, resilient, and scalable quality engineering frameworks for modern enterprise applications. This is a hands-on role for a QA leader well-versed in test automation, cloud-native tooling, and GenAI-augmented testing practices. You will play a pivotal role in evolving the engineering quality culture by integrating LLMs, autonomous testing agents, and AI-enhanced tooling into everyday testing workflows.

We are looking for an experienced technologist to become a member of the ClearPar Quality Assurance team based in Gurgaon, India. This person will work closely with existing team members in this dynamic and challenging industry to test and maintain innovative solutions for state of the art centralized loans settlement platform, with emphasis on testability, and leveraging existing components to accomplish timely delivery of software products according to the business schedule. This position is for a highly motivated and solutions-oriented individual who will be a member of a strong QA team focused on leading edge technologies that can support the ClearPar application suite.

Loan Settlement, forming the industry standard web-based loan trade processing platform dedicated to efficiently settling primary and secondary par and distressed loan trades in both the US and European markets. The ClearPar platform simplifies trade settlement by providing an integrated, collaborative, real-time platform for buyers, sellers, counsel and agent banks to capture, acknowledge, and settle primary and secondary market loan trades.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks across API, UI, performance, and integration layers.
• Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
• Leverage IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) for test environment provisioning and configuration.
• Use AI-driven test generation tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Copilot for QA, GPT-4, Diffblue, Mabl, Functionize, AutonomIQ) to auto-generate test cases from user stories or acceptance criteria.
• Implement autonomous testing agents for exploratory testing and uncovering edge-case failures.
• Build and maintain self-healing test automation that dynamically adapts to UI/API changes.
• Enable shift-left testing through early static/dynamic code analysis and secure coding checks.
• Use synthetic data generation and LLMs to model complex user scenarios and simulate edge conditions.
• Participate in testing AI/ML models for reproducibility, fairness, and robustness against drift/adversarial inputs.
• Apply SAST and SCA tools for early vulnerability detection and secure software practices.
• Use observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Splunk) to derive QA insights in production-like environments.
• Mentor QA engineers, drive quality best practices, and contribute to a culture of innovation.

• Experience with LLM orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex) for intelligent QA workflows
• Knowledge of federated data systems and data contract-driven testing
• Certifications in cloud security, testing, or AI/ML
• Participation in Vibe Coding, hackathons, or internal innovation sprints

• 7-9 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering in enterprise SaaS or fintech environments
• Strong expertise in designing scalable test frameworks for cloud-native applications
• Proficient in AI-enhanced testing and integration of GenAI tools into QA workflows
• Understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and security-first quality engineering
• Deep experience in API and UI test automation using modern open-source tools
• Passion for AI-powered innovation and proactive bug prevention
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Strong understanding of the HTML DOM, CSS selectors, and data manipulation techniques in JavaScript.
• Knowledge of non-functional testing methodologies and tools will be a plus (e.g., JMeter, BlazeMeter, Google Lighthouse, LoadRunner, etc.)
