Job Summary:

The Senior Inspection Engineer – Incoming Products is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, components, and products meet BIOTEK’s quality and regulatory standards. The role involves conducting inspections, verifying supplier compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards for medical devices, particularly sports medicine implants and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Incoming Inspection & Quality Control:

· Perform detailed inspections of incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods.

· Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using calibrated measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, VMM and tensile/torsional testing and hardness testing machines.

· Verify supplier CoC, material certificates and ensure compliance with material specifications.

· Identify non-conformities, document inspection results, and recommend disposition actions.

2. Documentation & QMS Compliance:

· Maintain and update inspection records in the QMS.

· Ensure traceability of incoming materials and adherence to documentation requirements.

· Prepare reports and support Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.

· Support internal and external audits related to incoming inspection and supplier management.

3. Continuous Improvement & Team Support:

· Identify areas for process improvements in inspection and quality control.

· Train and mentor junior inspection engineers and technicians.

· Support cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

· Diploma mechanical or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· Minimum 4 years of experience in quality inspection of medical devices or precision-engineered products.

· Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and metrology.

· Experience with ISO 13485 and or other QMS requirements.

· Hands-on experience with mechanical and dimensional inspection tools.

· Strong documentation and reporting skills.

· Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

· Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
