Role Overview:
Senior Manager QA
data-driven, risk-aware release decisions
This is a builder role with high accountability and the opportunity to shape QA practices in a culture-first organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Leadership & Strategy:
- Define and drive the overall QA vision, roadmap, and test strategy across healthcare analytics products and platforms.
- Establish and enforce QA processes, best practices, and quality standards to ensure high product reliability and compliance.
- Champion a
quality-first mindset
across engineering, product, and leadership teams. - Provide conditional release sign-offs with clearly articulated scope, risks, and mitigation plans when required.
Release Stability & Risk Management:
- Own release quality and stabilization, ensuring predictable and reliable delivery cycles.
- Proactively identify quality risks and high-impact test areas; influence scope and timelines using data.
Automation & Tooling:
- Drive automation maturity across critical flows.
- Review automation frameworks and code to ensure scalability, maintainability, and alignment with best practices.
- Integrate QA deeply into CI/CD pipelines and Agile workflows.
Hands-on Technical Ownership:
- Stay close to execution by reviewing test plans, automation code, and critical defects.
- Jump into high-priority issues, root cause analysis, and complex debugging when needed.
- Maintain strong visibility into product progress, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
People Leadership & Culture:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 7 QA engineers, building strong ownership and collaboration.
- Define KRAs, conduct regular performance reviews, and create clear growth paths.
- Build a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement where teams feel supported and challenged.
- Earn team trust through consistency, fairness, and leading from the front.
Stakeholder Influence & Communication:
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders to align quality goals with business priorities.
- Act as a strong influencer and conflict handler, balancing speed demands with quality realities.
- Communicate quality metrics, risks, and outcomes in a clear, data-driven manner to leadership.
Compliance & Process Excellence:
- Ensure compliance readiness for healthcare standards and internal quality benchmarks.
- Roll out standardized QA processes across teams and products.
- Maintain 100% traceability of requirements, tests, defects, and releases in Azure DevOps.
- Ensure work logs and documentation are consistently up to date across the team.
Customer & Domain Understanding
- Engage with real-world users by visiting hospitals and customer sites to understand workflows, challenges, and adoption patterns.
- Translate customer insights into meaningful quality scenarios and test strategies.

Required Qualifications:
BE/B.Tech
degree is mandatory.10+ years
of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a managerial/leadership role
.- Strong experience (45 years) in test automation and modern QA practices.
- Proven ability to stabilize releases and drive quality improvements at scale.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/DevOps environments (intermediate maturity expected).
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead in high-pressure environments.
Preferred / Good to Have:
- Experience in healthcare, analytics, or regulated domains.
- Exposure to
Azure DevOps
for test management and traceability. - QA or Agile certifications (ISTQB, CSM, etc.).
- Experience building QA functions or processes from the ground up.
