Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at Passion Gaming, you will be an integral part of the QA team responsible for ensuring the stability and accuracy of our games. Your passion for gaming and eye for perfection will be key in maintaining a smooth and bug-free player experience. Your responsibilities will include performing various types of testing such as functional, regression, gameplay, and content testing. You will be expected to create effective bug reports with accurate steps to reproduce (STRs) and track them from discovery to resolution. Collaborating with the development team, you will actively participate in daily stand-up meetings and bug triages to communicate progress. Designing and executing test cases based on project scopes, adapting quickly to the environment, and maintaining high quality and accuracy throughout the testing phase are essential aspects of the role. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the gaming industry. Strong communication skills, a good grasp of testing methodologies, and understanding of the software life cycle are required. Experience in testing mobile or web games/applications, testing APIs using Postman, writing SQL queries, using bug reporting tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, working with proxy tools like Charles or Fiddler, and testing Android and iOS mobile apps are preferred qualifications. Basic knowledge of automation testing and scripting, as well as working experience in Agile environments, will be beneficial. Required skills for this role include excellent communication, strong testing abilities, understanding of the software life cycle, mobile/web game testing experience, API testing skills, SQL query writing proficiency, bug reporting tools proficiency, proxy tools experience, mobile app testing experience, basic automation testing knowledge, and Agile experience.
