Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

You are a Senior QA Engineer at Snapmint, a leading fintech company in India. Your role involves testing Web and Mobile apps to prevent issues and fix bugs before product dispatch. Key Responsibilities: - Test complex API, web, and mobile-based applications connected to database back-end systems. - Develop and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, diagnose bugs, and ensure system quality before customer release. - Design, develop, troubleshoot automated test suites for continuous integration feedback. - Collaborate with engineering teams to determine testing requirements throughout the development cycle. - Reproduce, debug, isolate problems, and verify fixes. - Work closely with software developers to create test plans, cases, procedures, and reports. - Collaborate with internal partner engineering teams in an agile environment. - Estimate own testing tasks, work with minimal supervision, and maintain a positive team attitude. - Possess coding skills in Java/Python and strong experience in RESTful API testing. - Guide and mentor junior team members in the QA Team. Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, MCA, or related field with 3-5 years of experience. - Proficiency in Java/Python coding. - Strong experience in API testing, particularly with RESTful APIs.
