Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will play a crucial role in monitoring every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software align with company standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Test scoping, design, implementation, execution, debugging, and automation within an agile development methodology team comprising Product Management, Development, and QA professionals. - Ensuring quality in all aspects, including user experience, performance, accessibility, and security. - Reviewing and analyzing requirements, technical designs, and writing test cases and procedures. - Collaborating with Developers throughout the product life cycle, from specification reviews to design reviews. - Supporting the entire test and certification process by engaging early in the product development cycle and managing specific areas through product release. - Defining test plans, test suites, and test cases, utilizing automated tools to optimize the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) with a focus on functional & non-functional testing, covering UI and backend services. - Performing manual and automated tests, filing bug reports, and collecting and reporting test metrics. - Analyzing and investigating user-reported problems. Qualifications/Experience/Background: - Experience in independently owning and working end-to-end on an application. - Hands-on experience in white box testing. - Knowledge of Web API testing. - Proficiency in SQL and writing SQL Queries on MS SQL. - Ability to execute testing as per test plan/strategy. - Independently logging defects as per guidelines. - Adhering to project timelines in terms of delivery.
