Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts utilizing Selenium and Mabl to ensure comprehensive testing of web applications. You will continuously enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks to align with new product features and improvements. Your role will involve executing automated regression, functional, and integration tests to uphold the reliability and stability of applications. Collaboration with developers and other QA engineers is essential to ensure thorough testing and integration of new features into the automation framework. Additionally, you will set up, maintain, and streamline CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated testing processes. Analyzing test results, reporting defects, and collaborating with the development team for prompt resolution will be part of your responsibilities. Your active contribution to refining the overall test automation strategy, incorporating best practices and up-to-date tools, is crucial. Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to ensure high-quality test code is also expected. You should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on Selenium and preferably on Mabl. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for writing automated test scripts is required. A strong knowledge of web application testing methodologies and experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines are essential. The ability to work independently and drive automation initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams is necessary. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure is a plus. Nice to have qualifications include experience with additional automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Mabl, knowledge of performance testing and associated tools, and prior experience working in cloud-based environments for testing and deployment.,
