Senior Quality Analyst

As a Senior Quality Analyst at Satva Technolabs, your role will involve crafting intelligent business solutions to increase productivity, automate workflows, adhere to compliances, and gain insights for making financial decisions. You will be an integral part of the QA team and responsible for assessing software quality through manual testing. Your primary duties will include understanding requirements, preparing test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of web and mobile applications. **Responsibilities:** - Understand the client's requirements, analyze, and define User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in collaboration. - Prepare test plans, strategies, and test cases. - Conduct risk assessment and mitigation strategies for testing activities. - Manage test environment setup and test data preparation. - Responsible for testing web & mobile applications. - Execute test cases across different environments. - Conduct Sanity testing after bug fixing. - Manage defect lifecycle including logging, tracking, retesting, and closure. - Conduct root cause analysis for defects and testing issues. - Share best practices to enhance software quality. - Collaborate with developers on defect triage and resolution. - Conduct test closure activities including final reports and lessons learned. - Ensure timely delivery of testing deliverables. - Coordinate user acceptance testing with BA or Client. - Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives within an Agile methodology. - Train, mentor, and support junior testers and provide quarterly appraisal feedback. **Requirements:** - **Essential Skills:** - Any graduate (MCA/MSC IT/ BE) - Hands-on experience in regression testing and ad hoc testing. - Ability to create automation scripts (Basic Level). - Knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium, performance testing tools like JMeter, and API testing tools like Postman and Swagger. - Good written & verbal English communication skills. - Understanding of the agile methodology. - Knowledge of SQL queries and Security testing. - Basic knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Java, .Net, JavaScript, etc.). - Attention to detail and ability to prioritize test cases. - Strong problem-solving skills.
