Senior Quality Analyst - Automation Testing

As a Senior Quality Analyst Lead with 6+ years of experience in software testing, you will be responsible for the following: Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement test strategies, frameworks, and processes to enhance software quality. - Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications. - Conduct various types of testing including Regression, API testing, etc. - Create and maintain automation frameworks using appropriate tools. - Validate data and business logic through SQL queries and backend testing. - Identify, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Trello. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure testing aligns with requirements. - Provide guidance to QA team members on testing approaches, tools, and best practices. - Monitor and report quality metrics, risks, and release readiness. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 6+ years of professional experience in software testing. - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). - Demonstrated expertise in manual testing, automation testing, and API testing. - Proficiency in SQL queries for database validation. - Experience in mobile application testing. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. In addition to the above, you may also possess the following preferred skills: - Experience with CI/CD tools. - Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance are a plus.
