Senior Quality Analyst - Automation Testing

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright. You should proficiently write automated tests in TypeScript or JavaScript and work effectively within a Node.js environment, utilizing npm for package management. It is essential to perform comprehensive API testing using tools like Postman and execute performance tests using tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar, and analyze the results. You will be expected to utilize test and defect management tools like Jira for tracking test cases, execution progress, and bugs. Collaboration with development teams and other QA engineers is crucial. Troubleshooting and debugging automated tests and application issues will be part of your responsibilities. You are required to contribute to test planning, strategy, and continuous improvement of the automation process to ensure the quality and reliability of software releases. You should have 7 to 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation. Hands-on experience in writing automated tests using Playwright is mandatory. Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript is preferred for Playwright scripting. Working knowledge of the Node.js environment and npm is necessary. Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman is also required. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, etc.) and familiarity with test and defect management tools like Jira are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good communication and collaboration skills, are crucial. Having exposure to other test automation tools like Selenium and Cypress, experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with Git for version control are considered as plus points for this role.,
