Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates, bill of quantities (BOQs), rate analyses, and cost plans during the preconstruction stage.
Review contract documents: drawings, specifications, scopes of work; ensure clarity and completeness.
Develop budget forecasts and cash flow projections; update them as project progresses.
Analyze vendor/subcontractor quotations, negotiate rates, and assist in procurement.
Manage contracts and work orders, ensuring terms are favorable and adhered to.
Monitor project costs vs budget; identify cost overruns early and propose corrective measures.
Review & certify contractor / subcontractor bills, RA bills, variation orders.
Material reconciliation & measurement of works on site for accurate billing & payments.
Coordinate with Project Management, Site Engineers, Procurement, and other teams for smooth execution.
Assist in risk identification & mitigation related to contractual / commercial aspects.
Maintain accurate records, prepare reports & dashboards for management: cost reports, change orders, progress vs budget etc.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and company policies in all commercial / contractual work.
