Role Description

Senior QA Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute

  test cases, test scripts, and test plans

  for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Perform

  manual testing

  to identify bugs and validate new features.
• Develop and maintain

  automation frameworks

  using

  Java, Selenium WebDriver

  , and

  TestNG/JUnit

  .
• Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects using tools like

  JIRA

  or

  Bugzilla

  .
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Conduct

  API testing

  using tools like

  Postman

  or

  RestAssured

  .
• Participate in

  agile ceremonies

  (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and framework efficiency.
• Mentor junior QA team members and review their test deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years

  of experience in Software Testing (Manual + Automation).
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

  ,

  Java

  , and

  TestNG/JUnit

  .
• Experience with

  API testing

  ,

  SQL queries

  , and

  backend validation

  .
• Familiarity with

  Jenkins

  ,

  Git

  , or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of

  SDLC

  Defect Life Cycle

  .
• Experience working in

  Agile/Scrum

  environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  BDD tools

  (Cucumber, Serenity).
• Exposure to

  Performance Testing

  (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of

  mobile app testing

  (Appium).
• Understanding of

  cloud-based testing environments

  (AWS, Azure).
