Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using

  Python/Django

  .
• Work with distributed task queues (

  Celery

  ) and caching mechanisms (

  Redis

  ).
• Manage and optimize

  PostgreSQL

  databases, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Design and maintain APIs across

  gRPC, REST, and GraphQL

  , ensuring schema versioning and backward compatibility.
• Write and maintain

  unit, integration, and contract tests

  integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement observability best practices with

  Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, structured logging, and Grafana dashboards

  .
• Profile and optimize application performance, including analyzing

  SQL query plans

  and tuning production systems.
• Contribute to

  cloud-native deployments

  using tools like

  Docker and GitHub Actions

  .Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions clearly.

Requirements:

• 5+ years

  of professional backend engineering experience.

• 3+ years

  of hands-on experience with

  Python/Django

  in production.
• Strong knowledge of

  Celery, PostgreSQL, and Redis

  .
• Proven experience in

  API design

  (gRPC, REST, GraphQL) and handling versioning
• Solid experience in testing practices with coverage metrics and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana)
• Experience in performance tuning and production debugging.
• Comfortable working in

  cloud-native environments

  (Docker, GitHub Actions)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
