Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Vendor Management: Find and develop reliable vendors for raw materials, packaging, and equipment.
Purchase Process: Handle the complete buying process from sending Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to issuing Purchase Orders (PO).
Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate prices and payment terms to get the best value.
Inventory & Quality Control: Manage Goods Received Note (GRN) process, verify invoices, and handle credit/debit notes. Maintain awareness of raw material quality standards.
Problem Solving: Quickly arrange emergency materials to prevent production stoppages.

Requirements & Skills:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
At least 5 years of experience in purchase, preferably within the food industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills in both Tamil and English.
Honest, a strong team player, and able to handle situations with maturity.
Good understanding of quality issues related to food raw and packaging materials.
