Senior Purchase Executive

Position Title: Senior Purchase Executive

Location: Kasna, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh

A leading company in manufacturing, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our clients is looking for a dynamic and efficient Purchase Executive to support the team and contribute to continued success.

Requirements:

* Minimum experience of at least 4- 5 years as a Purchase/Materials Executive or similar role. Experience of purchasing raw material such as insulation foams, masking tapes, adhesives, plastic moulding RM etc is highly preferred.

Knowledge of export / import is preferred.

* Excellent negotiation skills.

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

* Proficiency in MS Office; especially Excel and MS Word.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Job description

* Responsible for ensuring availability of materials for the plant with optimum cost.

Visits to vendor locations may be required

* Negotiate best prices with integrity and honesty.

* Place orders on suppliers after proper approvals.

* Cost reduction to bring RM costs down.

* Identifying and developing vendors for new products from India or abroad.

* Reporting on tasks on a daily basis in given formats.

* Co-ordinating with QA and vendors for quality related issues.

* Disposal of slow moving and obsolete items.

* Co-coordinating with other departments for smooth functioning of the raw materials

* Periodic monitoring of prices and reporting.

* Coordinating transportation (Vendor Management resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems)

* Respond to vendors/supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
