Job Role : Senior Purchase Executive

Job Location : Madurai

Industry : Food Industry

Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Salary : 3 LPA - 5 LPA

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Planning:
Develop monthly and weekly purchase plans in coordination with production and inventory teams.
Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
Vendor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers of raw materials, packaging, and consumables.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
Purchase Execution:
Issue purchase orders and follow up for on-time delivery.
Ensure all materials meet quality standards and food safety regulations.
Cost Optimization:
Monitor market trends and commodity prices to make cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Reduce purchase costs without compromising quality.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, and other applicable standards.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Collaborate with Quality, Production, Accounts, and Logistics teams.
Resolve material-related issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
