Job Description

Opcito Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior PSO Engineer with hands-on expertise in VMware core products—including vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting virtualized infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security across enterprise environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years' hands-on VMware virtualization experience.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with vSphere/ESXi administration.
  • Experience managing vSAN storage and understanding of distributed storage architecture.
  • Good working knowledge of NSX (Network Virtualization and Security Platform).
  • Exposure to or hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
  • Experience with vCenter, resource pools, DRS, HA, and cluster management.
  • Ability to perform host lifecycle operations (firmware updates, patches).
  • Knowledge of VMware networking concepts—vDS/vSS, VLANs, VXLAN, overlay networks.
  • Experience in monitoring tools like vROps, Log Insight, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts in VMware.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with capacity analysis experience.
  • Must be willing and comfortable to travel across India as per business requirements.
