Senior Project Manager

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage construction and engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of construction management best practices, including safety regulations (IOSH, CDM) and ISO9001 quality processes
• Oversee the coordination of project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient and successful project delivery
• Identification of any anticipated bottlenecks in project implementation & preparation of remedial mitigation plan in consultations with all stakeholders
• Utilize project management software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and online collaboration tools, to track progress, manage risks, and ensure effective communication
• Maintain strong commercial awareness, ensuring that all projects align with organizational goals and client expectations
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Possess working knowledge on safety in anyLV/HV/EHV substation& network construction environment, adhering to HSE regulations and industry standards such as IOSH, CDM or equivalent guidelines to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
• Requisite work experience, certification and skill set:Proven experience managing construction and/or engineering projects valued at 10m+
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and project teams
• Strong commercial awareness and a focus on achieving project objectives within budget and scope
• A recognized project management qualification or certification (eg, APM, Chartered status) is essential having excellent understanding of project management techniques and processes
• IOSH Managing Safely qualifications and experience with CDM regulations are highly advantageous
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Access
• Good communication and report writing skills, Team Handling skills & Project Managementskills
• Periodic Reporting to all key stakeholders.
