Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering Business Intelligence (BI) IT projects that enable and support core business operations at the Company. The role involves managing projects through the full project lifecycle using industry-standard project management methodologies, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and within-scope delivery.
This position demands strong project management skills, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams. The ideal candidate should be committed to excellence in customer service, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a dynamic, enterprise-scale, managed hosting environment.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end BI project implementation from initiation to closure
Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
Define project scope and develop comprehensive project plans with schedules, deliverables, and milestones
Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
Design and maintain a scalable project structure aligned with delivery methodologies
Manage scope, timelines, and budgets using formal change management processes
Coordinate cross-functional project teams and monitor performance against project plans
Forecast resources and effort requirements accurately
Act as the primary liaison between vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams
Drive innovation, process improvement, and standardization within IT
Provide guidance and enforce adherence to IT policies, standards, and best practices
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in BI and project management

Professional Skills

Strong analytical and metric-driven mindset for continuous improvement
Proactive, clear, and collaborative communication approach
Proven ability to apply project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, expectation management, and conflict resolution
Effective in presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, and decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with project tracking tools and timely progress reporting
Ability to handle scope changes, manage project acceptance, and document revisions under change control
Minimum 10 years of hands-on project management experience, with a track record of delivering successful IT/BI projects
Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent professional experience)
PMP Certification preferred
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
