Job Description

The Project Engineer role in Project and Development Services at JLL involves maintaining smooth site operations as the main agenda. This includes solving site design problems, managing construction works, and keeping timesheets and records for reporting purposes. Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety legislations, standards, and codes of practice is a key responsibility. Additionally, preparing and managing the implementation of the Project Safety Plan is part of the role. As a Project Engineer, you will be required to assemble and lead a team of experts, coordinate with key stakeholders, and manage subcontractors and suppliers. Building and maintaining client relationships is crucial, where understanding clients" business needs and constraints is essential. Representing the client throughout the project stages and ensuring that the company meets profit targets are significant aspects of the job. To be considered for this position, candidates should have proven expertise in site management and be certified professionals in a building-related discipline with significant experience in site supervision. A background in various sectors such as residential, commercial, hotels, industrial, and retail fitout will be advantageous. Leadership skills are paramount for this role, requiring a high level of competence to bring out the best in the team. Demonstrating the willingness and ability to enhance existing competencies is vital, along with a strong eagerness to learn and develop in the role. Superior interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to effectively delegate tasks and motivate contractors.
